missing low gas lightcdann 07-03-2002, 10:57 AM I just purchased a 95 Civic Ex coupe and noticed a few weeks ago that my gas light wouldn't light up. Now my 91 CRX had a gas light so I was sure there was one just maybe a burned out bulb or something. I tore the dash apart yesterday to replace the gauges with Reverse Indeglo's and I don't even have a gas light optin. What's up with that sh#! I have a stock Sunroof, pwr everything and AC but no Gas Light! Is this just my Civic Ex or is everyone's like this? ricergurl 07-03-2002, 11:25 AM mine on my 94 never worked either.. kinda suked cuz im the type that waits till im empty to fil up Predator 07-03-2002, 01:41 PM Had the same prob until a garage repaired it for me! cdann 07-10-2002, 01:11 AM Did the repair shop tell you what they did? Is there a VFAQ for this that any one knows about? I don't mind doing the work myself I just need to know what to do. No1DytrDeR1628 10-21-2003, 10:12 PM I’ve been going crazy looking for a gas light. I hate how the gauges have such fat needles. Sometime I think I am on empty when I have a 1/8 of a tank left. The only way out is to get a JDm cluster. Rather just buy a new car, than start putting all this JDm BS. Miataracer 10-21-2003, 10:35 PM the gauge sucks anyway... can't even go around a corner without it bouncing from full to empty... ra227 10-21-2003, 10:52 PM Yeah I have a 95 Civic EX coupe and damn near ran out of gas just to test if the car had a light or not- it never came on. I also think its weird as hell cuz it came stock w/ 6 speakers and power everything too...but on damn low gas warning light. STRANGE!!! No1DytrDeR1628 10-22-2003, 10:15 AM i read here on one of the forums that even if you have the Jdm cluster u still have to run a wire for the gas light. Anybody know how i can do this? because i rather just run that wire to an led instead of spending crazy money on Jdm parts. JDm parts are like Drugs you buy it once, ull never stop buying. :smokin: vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
