ive bidding on this one motor that i want, and it's a d17a2 motor... im wondering will a d16z6 transmission fit into it...

Yes D15-17 should be the same thing but you will just need a custom shifter and linkage. This has been an ongoing project with some 7th gen guys. A few have performed the swap. I wouldnt recommend it but it will work with some tweeking.
