Oil leak in between oil cooler & the engine ngsiufung 03-02-2006, 09:48 PM
Mine is 94 camry. There is oil leak in between the oil cooler & the engine. Is there a gasket in between and how difficulties to fix it? Please give some help. Thanks Mike Gerber 03-03-2006, 12:59 AM I think there is a larage rubber o-ring type gasket in there. To be certain, download the generation 3 manual at the top of this forum and look at the section for the engine your car has (I4 or V6). For the I4, it is section EG1, page 286. For the V6, it is section EG2. Not sure of what page for the V6 engine, so you will just have to skim over the pages until you find the section on engine lubrication and look further in to that section. Mike burchard 03-06-2006, 11:50 AM There is a seal there and sometimes if you put excesive amounts of oil it will break. Very easy to replace... make sure you get an OEM seal Related Links Enter the largest automotive community on the planet! |
