Laguna Remote Central Locking key

Dear All,

I have read many many threads all over the internet to identify how to re-program the remote central locking on a Laguna, and the truth is you can only do it at a Renault Dealership.

The Total Costs are detailed below.

Blip Key £83.00 (Inc VAT)
Reprogram (1/2 Hr Labour some try to charge 1 hr Labour) £40 (Inc VAT)
Optional new Key Blade £14.00 (Inc Vat)

If your key has just lost the code then it will only cost you £40 however there will be a reason the key lost the code, and this is normally a defective key.

If the dealership can re-program the key, they will do however they will not guarantee how long it will last and you will have no come back if your key fails again.

Best way to keep your costs down is to call all your local dealerships and get the best hourly rate as these do differentiate between dealerships (the further out of town the better)
