Hey all;
The past couple days it feels like my clutch is slipping. Since I've never had a stick I'll try to explain it the best I can, and I want to see if this sounds like I need a new clutch.

When taking off (driving normally), keeping rpms at about 1500 on the clutch, the car starts jerking. It feels like when you take your foot off the clutch and the rpms is too low and the car wants to die. It feels like that, but it's not quite the same. I guess it's like its slipping. I don't want to get a clutch yet, but I feel i'm going to need one. How much is an OEM one? I can't afford my flywheel and Stage 1 clutch (unless someone has one). And do these come with a Throwout Bearing, pressure plate, and all the goods? What do I need? Thanks.

^ummm.....no, that doesn't sound like a slipping clutch. You should do a run in third starting out as slow as possible. Floor it, and if the rpm's rise and you aren't picking up speed in proportion to the rpm, then your clutch is slipping.
Edit: most good clutch kits come with pressure plate, throwout bearing, and alignment tool.

The car still moves. It runs great once rolling. I thought the other night tho it did feel like that did happen tho. It was funny cause I was like WTF, why is it not going. RPM raised, but car barely moved. It hasnt done it since. Anyother idea on what my problem can be? Thanks

it could possibly be a bad CV joint in an axle. I thought i had a slipping clutch this summer and had my transmission out 3 times. Turns out i had a bad axle, I would start there.

So could this actually be part of my other post about that knocking coming from the front axle then? That would be sweet if it was! In the other post I talk about how something under the front makes a knocking sound each time I start, stop, or turn. It actually sounds exactly like how bad motor mounts sound, but thats not my problem. I think I should goto my mechanic oneday.

if its making a popping sound when you turn i would bet you blew a cv shaft. Jack up the side of the car that was making noise, put the car in gear and see of you can turn the wheel without the axle spinning at the same speed. it should spin a little slower and spin in an "oval rotation". if that doesnt turn anything up check the other side just to be sure.

EDIT---> and if there is nothing left then the axle wont spin at all when the wheel spins.
