95 Windstar Slipping Transmissionbritcarman 02-26-2006, 03:50 PM This problem has been happening erratically, so I feel that I'll need to rebuild it. Can someone give me a good place to get a bit of help with this. Is there a website or printed material that will give me help? Thanks in advance for anything that anyone can do. :banghead: LeSabre97mint 02-26-2006, 08:52 PM This problem has been happening erratically, so I feel that I'll need to rebuild it. I did a google on transmission rebuild manuals and found this: http://www.phoenixhardparts.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWCATS&Category=24 I hope this helps in some way. Someone could make a career of repairign these inadequate automatic boxes. Get an ATSG manual for the transmission (AX4S/AXODE). You can order them from several places.
