missing linkhany 02-26-2006, 04:03 AM i installed yesterday the missing link and when arrive to the 7500 in my d15b vtec the engine cut off . so my question is is that natural ? is the missing link has a relation with the rbm ? or the missing link have relation with the pressure only ? superbluecivicsi 02-26-2006, 11:24 AM if i recalled right, your car is throwing a cel from a previous post. what is that cel????????????? hany 02-28-2006, 07:44 AM i can not understan you. my question in other way is : is the map sensor has relation with cutting off the engine at 7200 rbm ? superbluecivicsi 02-28-2006, 10:16 PM cel = check engine light. http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbulletin/search.php?searchid=1446569 so what is the check engine light? you are still running an auto ecu on a manual tranny? so............you installed a missing link and assuming it is correctly installed. now your ecu does not see boost. so im assuming you are running colder plugs with a tighter gap from .028 - .034? if all the above is fine, the only thing i can think of is your running a tad lean. or if your still running the p28, the rev limit is set at 7200 ;) assuming the p28 is still running on its current fuel and timing maps, that is not a good mix. boost + an ecu with fuel and timing maps that is not made for a d15b = lean and rich areas all and in diffrent place = a future disaster for the d15b. but, that is your engine, not mine ;) hany 03-01-2006, 03:20 AM yes that right i still use the auto ecu in manual tranny. i will search for manual one and better plugs and try and if a problem faced me i will mail you vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
