Hi all, i'm a newb to cars but hopefully i'm just over thinking. I just recieved my car free from a friend so i'm not complaining but there is something i noticed about the headlights. on the drivers side all the lights are nice and bright and the housing is still somewhat clean and not yellowed. On the passenger side I noticed that ALL the lights are dim. The low/hi beam housing is somewhat yellowed, the corner lights are just as clean as the other side. However all three lights, even the turn signal/orange one is also dim. I don't know how the headlights are hooked up but are the headlights all drawing from wire for power? or are they all seperate... because i'm tryhing to figure out whether its just the bulbts, or its because its not recieving adequate power. It's noticeable, especially the lights how the lowbeams aren not as powerful on the passenger side..

side note, the passenger side has been in an accident, don't know how mucht his would affect it

You must be on the right track about insufficient power. Check for a corroded bulb socket, could be sapping power from the other lights. Or since it had been hit on that side, maybe the ground location is poorly secured? Poke around in that light housing area - I think you're onto something. Highland
