I'm a fan of the old NASCAR race cars from the 60's and early 70's.
This toons layout shows both of R. Petty's Aero racers.
He switched to the Ford Talladaga in 69, and back to Plymouth (and the Superbird) for 1970.

Threw in the Petty caricature just for practice.

Thanks for the comments.

Rob, I put way too much time into making the "simple" steel race wheels.

Thanks again.
I'm starting to get more interested in the caricature stuff.
May start adding more to my CAR-toons.

Had several requests for toons w/ owner caricatures, but refused them so far as that type of drawing is not yet a strong area of my artwork skills.
Need much, much more practice.

Charicatures take skill, I'll give it that. They're hard to do, to capture a face while leaving it simple, it's a fine, hehe, art.
