You get that done or do it yourself babyskyline 06-28-2002, 12:45 AM Hey bro, Yo thanks alot for the help and taking the time to do that for me man I really appreciate it. I had a powder coating place do them for me. It was $140 for all 4 rims and like $89 to have them mounted and balanced. I am gonna get the center caps black as well. So what do you guys think. Yeah or neah. I'm putting my springs on tomorrow morning. Then Monday I am gonna order my front bumper from www.import-trader.com. On July 15th I am gonna order my carbon fiber hood from www.dgmotorsports.com. It's the company that the Red SpecV on the cover of Import Tuner got theirs from for $595. After all that I'm done until performance stuff comes out. Do you guys want me to take pictures each time I add something on or do you guys want me to take a picture once everything is on? If you noticed I took off the SER badges and the Sentra letters as well. Again thanks for the help.:alien: babyskyline 06-28-2002, 12:52 AM I haven't decided yet, but if I think it looks good enough (meaning my car) I MIGHT register it for the Hot Import Nights Aug 3 in Dallas. The only reason why I am even considering it is because I pretty much know what's out there for our cars as of right now performance wise and show wise. So I mean how much do you think the average Joe hooked up his/her SpecV ya know? I seriously doubt someone is gonna show up to the with a SpecV like the one on the cover of Import Tuner. I mean there only so many body kits for it. I might even do some aftermarkert pedals and gauges. What do you guys think?:alien: pinyoot4you 06-28-2002, 01:19 AM woah babyskyline, nice move on the powdercoat, it looks really tight, keep up the good work, right now i'm workin on a CF hood right now, just comparing prices right now to find the best price p.s. keep us posted on every mod u make jedi_sentra_spec-v 06-28-2002, 02:44 AM no problem damion if u do take more pictures each time u add somthin (which i think u should) ill be more than happy to post them for ya n e time and i think you should go for it on aug 3 cause your totally right and the way yours is shapin up, it'll be a hit in dallas babyskyline 06-28-2002, 07:52 AM Yo wassup, thanks on the compliments. I'm pretty happy with it, one thing that me made me do it was that, hey they gave us rims why not. I'm sure hardly anyone else did that. Plus I don't have to worry about rims for alittle bit, so that helps me save on performance. Pinyoot4u I'll deffinately keep you guys posted. Jedi_sentra_specv thanks for letting me have you as an option for pics. By the way what companies are looking at to compare prices for the CF hoods? The only one I know is the Dgmotorsports.com. I'm gonna have to think about Hot Import Nights. I don't want to look stupid there. Talk to you guys later.:alien: zane11 06-28-2002, 09:43 AM Wheels look great As for posting more pictures as they come i think that would be great as long as jedi_sentra_spec-v and yourself don't mind doin it. And definitly enter that Hot Import thing. Looking good keep up the good work. babyskyline 06-28-2002, 11:03 AM Thanks, we'll have to see how everything goes with my car for the show. I'll keep posting pics, jedi sentra specV is being really cool with the whole idea. MANNNN I can't get my springs on today:( the guy that I normally go to was swampped today so I might have to wait until Monday. If I do then I will post some more pics once the springs are on.:alien: pinyoot4you 06-28-2002, 02:47 PM my homie has a friend and can pull some strings for me, me n my cousins are gonna bundle up and buy it at once so it might be a lil cheaper, not concluded on the price yet tho Sentra Styling 06-28-2002, 05:08 PM Originally posted by babyskyline Yo wassup, thanks on the compliments. Rims look good by the way..;) babyskyline 06-29-2002, 11:49 AM I know that's who I'm getting mine from. Brady10 06-30-2002, 11:07 PM Hey the rims look good! I was considering white, any input on white? jedi_sentra_spec-v 07-01-2002, 12:13 AM white would look pretty sweet too, but what color spec v is it, brady10? babyskyline 07-01-2002, 12:39 AM Thanks for the compliment. What color is your car? If your car is white, white would look good as well. One reason why I didn't do white was because alot of people who have a white car do white on white ya know? Plus I heard that white is a bitch to clean also. Another reason why I decided to powder coat the stock rims was because I figure like this. They gave us rims right now, so why not use these for awhile and save all for performance. Plus I knew that not that many people would do it. Good luck.:alien: vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
