1994 Grand AM V6: Inner,outer tie rods Jason9 02-21-2006, 05:18 PM
Does anyone have any pictures where they are locatede on the car? thanks! Jason maxwedge 02-21-2006, 06:36 PM They connect from the back of the steering knuckle to the p/s rack, based on this question are you planning to attempt this repair yourself, doesn't sound well advised to me. Jason9 02-21-2006, 08:10 PM Actually I am trying to find the name of a part, it connects to the end of the stabilizer bar and goes down on a slant and connects. Any pictures would greatly help! Jason9 02-21-2006, 08:59 PM The piece I'm looking connects the stabilizer bar to the lower arm. gmack221 02-22-2006, 11:07 AM I believe your talking about the "SWAY BAR LINK" it connects the sway bar to the a-arm. You can pick these up at any auto parts store, usually looks like a long bolt with a couple of bushings on it, one end bolts to the a-arm, the other bolts to the sway bar. On a 4x4 they call it a stabilizer bar, on front wheel drive they call it sway bar (i believe), sorry autozones site doesn't have a pic.
