By the way, currently it is a 1600 in my car, lame uhh, but my baby is the prettiest integra on wheels but i want it to be beautiful and fast, please help me out - I want to eventually run at least 12's. NEED4SPEED 06-26-2002, 07:51 PM First of all, what is your budget? What version integra; gs-r, ls,etc.? blackbob 06-27-2002, 10:31 AM We are gonna need a bit more info on the car first . crxlvr 06-27-2002, 08:09 PM Originally posted by blackbob We are gonna need a bit more info on the car first . especially since you said it was the best on wheels, lets see some pics. seanbeeracing 06-28-2002, 09:48 PM it is a b16 engine, gs-r model b16a3sol 07-01-2002, 05:18 AM it is a b16 engine, gs-r model boy is that ever a contradiction. you seem pretty set on the fact that its a 1.6, yet the gsr comes with a b18, which means its a 1.8. a gsr already comes with a very nice motor, so i say do some work to that. prep it up for nos if you must use it, but i dont think a motor swap is what you need. crxlvr 07-01-2002, 04:24 PM Originally posted by seanbeeracing it is a b16 engine, gs-r model that makes no sense, the GSR is a B18, why would you wanna downgrade? blackbob 07-08-2002, 03:54 PM Myabe the kid is an idiot,The world is full of them.:D GSteg 07-08-2002, 04:01 PM some people actually do swaps from a B18B to a B16 engine. it may not make sense whatsoever, but the b16 has the greatest rod to stroke ratio near the "perfect" ratio. it makes a very good candidate when you want to go all motor with a heavily raised RPM. i do suggest that who ever does the swap, either lighten your car or add some i/h/e to replace the torque that was lost during the swap. blackbob 07-08-2002, 04:05 PM Originally posted by GSteg some people actually do swaps from a B18B to a B16 engine. it may not make sense whatsoever, but the b16 has the greatest rod to stroke ratio near the "perfect" ratio. it makes a very good candidate when you want to go all motor with a heavily raised RPM. i do suggest that who ever does the swap, either lighten your car or add some i/h/e to replace the torque that was lost during the swap. Well with that purpose it makes more sense StageOneGalant 07-08-2002, 04:48 PM Originally posted by seanbeeracing I have a 97 Intregra (my baby), but right I need some speed, i was considering a h22 swap but I have been hearing about losing a/c and shit, any which engine do u think would be a suitable candidate for me considering that i will be using nos. U don't need NOS to go fast. Just some Smart MODS. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
