Went out and bought Slowprocess II...Slowprocess 02-20-2006, 09:33 AM Well, the tranny on the truck is in need of repair, so I went out Friday looking for another everyday driver. Went by a dealership and picked up Slowprocess II. 2000 Camaro SS, pewter, t-tops, auto, black leather/interior, power everything, gunmetal 10 spokes, completely stock with 47,000 miles. I knew the car from the town it was in. It was girl driven and absolutely pampered(that's why I snatched it up!!!). Only thing is I'm having trouble getting the perfume smell out of the car(luckily it smells GOOD, but the girlfriend gets suspicious easily...) We're getting ice here at the moment, but I'll get some pics up ASAP. I already love this car!!!! CivRacer95 02-20-2006, 10:07 AM w00t! Shit man. Another WS6 contender here at AF! Congrats on the new purchase...Kinda hoping for another truck though. Igovert500 02-20-2006, 10:35 AM Well that's one hell of a beater. congrats. xXxRocker5150 02-20-2006, 10:47 AM is that gonna a modified daily driver, or just stricly a daily driver?? Mr. Luos 02-20-2006, 11:01 AM Dick. I need a better job. clawhammer 02-20-2006, 11:42 AM Do you mind me asking how you're able to come up with the money to have an 11sec truck and a daily driver like that? Let's see pictures. Slowprocess 02-20-2006, 11:43 AM It's going to start off as a lightly modified daily driver. Probably just do a few bolt ons and I have some spare nitrous parts laying around here. :grinyes: I really want the car to look good, so I will probably start with buying some more wheels(I'm partial to the torque thrust 17s). I'm up in the air on the exhaust setup, but I do have a qtp cutout sitting in my room waiting to go on it. Slowprocess 02-20-2006, 11:46 AM Do you mind me asking how you're able to come up with the money to have an 11sec truck and a daily driver like that? Let's see pictures. It helps that I'm 25, just dating, and out of school. The truck was paid off about 2 years ago, so I haven't had a car payment in quite some time. I'm a manager of a chemical warehouse, and they don't pay too bad. I'll get some pics up for you guys. It's covered in ice right now, but maybe it'll thaw up by the time I get home from work. -Jayson- 02-20-2006, 12:33 PM i hate you slowprocess. . . no im not kidding, i really hate you im still not kidding. . . . . nice cars. . . .dick -The Stig- 02-20-2006, 12:43 PM Sounds like a nice find man... First thing you need to replace in that car is the rearend. Mossler 12 bolt... c'mon. Don't be like me and have to spend $900 in repairs. TatII 02-20-2006, 12:45 PM i was assuming it would be another truck, but nice car, but hmm i never knew girls drive camaro SS's, esp ones that actually wears perfume. BP2K2Max 02-20-2006, 01:26 PM i was assuming it would be another truck, but nice car, but hmm i never knew girls drive camaro SS's, esp ones that actually wears perfume. they're called strippers. Mr. Luos 02-20-2006, 02:04 PM Mossler 12 bolt... c'mon. Don't be like me and have to spend $900 in repairs. 9". More gear selection. Stronger. Most of the time can be found for cheaper. At least that is what I will be putting in mine. 2000LS1Z28 02-20-2006, 02:33 PM Nice find. Oh and the 9" rearend is pretty expensive from what i've seen online. Heard there is someplace that'll sell a 12 bolt for a little over $1800.00. Dunno how long my 10 bolt will last, and i'm not exactly easy on it :D BlackGT2000 02-20-2006, 02:36 PM Nice, Its not that often that someone has a camaro SS and its their slow car haha. Mr. Luos 02-20-2006, 02:40 PM Heard there is someplace that'll sell a 12 bolt for a little over $1800.00. Probably with no ABS or TCS. TheStang00 02-20-2006, 02:58 PM Nice find. Oh and the 9" rearend is pretty expensive from what i've seen online. Heard there is someplace that'll sell a 12 bolt for a little over $1800.00. Dunno how long my 10 bolt will last, and i'm not exactly easy on it :D http://www.metropartsmarket.com/catalogs/fordrearend-c1.html every ford 9" on there is under $1500, so unless they are missing something... CBFryman 02-20-2006, 03:15 PM Probably with no ABS or TCS. No ABS sucks... i i have no problem locking all 4 wheels under heavy breaking. Sometimes the rear wiggles under semi heavy breaking and its sapposed to have ABS... :banghead: DinanM3_S2 02-20-2006, 05:40 PM Wow, everyone on here is getting new cars, this is starting to drive me nuts. Why doesn't the E92 M3 come out sooner :( clawhammer 02-20-2006, 06:39 PM Wow, everyone on here is getting new cars, this is starting to drive me nuts. Why doesn't the E92 M3 come out sooner :( Don't feel so bad, almost everyone here would gladly trade cars with you. lickem 02-21-2006, 06:38 PM Soooo...................... you suck Drifty 02-23-2006, 09:13 AM good job on the find slowprocess... even funnier that you bought an SS off a Stripper!! Slowprocess 02-23-2006, 10:53 AM Lol!!!! Unfortunately this girl wasn't a stripper. She's a damn hairdresser. Her family has been into racing for a long time, and her brothers all have modded cars. She wanted to be acceptable in the fam, but when she had her first child, she needed something larger. She traded it in on a Dodge Magnum. The weather has been so crappy here the last week. Our local racing club is getting together this weekend for some shots, so I'll hopefully have some pics up over the weekend. I've already ordered a few appearance things for the car. I'm trying to make it stand out over by buddies 01 M6 pewter ss. They pretty much look identical except he has the chrome z06 wheels on it. Mr. Luos 02-23-2006, 07:47 PM Want some WS.6 wheels? vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
