93 t-bird damage

Ok i f**cked my car up on the passenger front end side!! My headlight assembly is in about 30 pieces the air filter housing is not even managable and it over revves now. I replaced the air filter housing with the K&N cold air intake so the mass air flow sensor wouldn't be picking up excessive air. But now when i start my engine it revves at about 1500 rpm's which is cose to normal, but when i give it gas it goes up then takes a few moments to go back to the idle. I dont know what it is and there is some vacuum hoses that are clipped, and i have no idea where they go. I am only 16 so i dont have much expirience with cars, and i dont have a bunch of money to buy a new car and i love my t-bird so i would like to get it fixed asap. I will try to post pictures of eveything that is all messed up. And if anyone has a passenger quarter panel, hood, radiator core support, bumper, inner and outer, the headlight assembly, and i think thats all i need give me a price on how much and also where you live maybe i could come pick up or work out shipping options. If you have any vacuum hoses just hanging around and absolutely cannot figure out where they go, plug them TEMPORARILY untill you can find a vacuum hose diagram for your car. (Your local library should have the Motor service manual for your car, you can find it in there and make a copy of it.) My guess is that they go to a charcoal canister or the like. Your best bet for body parts would be to source them locally at a boneyard, as that kind of stuff can be very expensive to ship.

that vaccume would throw off everything. FIX IT FAST!!

Like said, plug it, then go from there. With those parts the junkyard is the best bet, also ebay.

So plugging the vacuum hoses wont be bad for the car, and is the haynes guide a good guide to use? if i plug the hoses will the car run fine and not take so ong to go back to the idle state after it is revved up? Thanks for the help and if i buy used parts do you guys think the car will still drive fine like before the crash? I only paid $900 for the car so i dont want to put too much money into it, lemme know thanks!!

The Haynes guides are crap as far as I am concerned. I would get the shop manuals they are the best source of info I have ever found.

As far as drivability after fixing, as long as there is no frame damage you should be fine. I would take it to a good body shop to be sure everything is strait.

ok i got it, also i installled the cold air intake kit from k&n and it doesnt revv as high now, but when i give it gas the rpm's fall slow still, thanks for everyones help!!!

Ok i have some of my car parts now, hood, bumper, fender, and some other things but i have an Fuel Storage canister purge regulator valve that is off my car and is broken, i am getting a new one today hopefully but i have no idea where the vacuum hoses are going to run to, so if anyone could post the vacuum hose diagram for my 93' thunderbird lx 3.8v6 thanks in advance!!!

If I had a scanner I could send you one but I dont have one. It is in the Chilton Manual that I have. The one I have is an 83 to 96 Thunderbird/Cougar. It has Vacum Diagrams in it. The Chilton is WAY better than the Haynes. It is easier to find and cheaper than a shop manual.

I just got my car fixed today, the damn thing runs better then when i bought it. You cant really tell it was crashd till you pop the hood then you can tell the wheeel well if messed up but it rides nice. Thanks for everyones help!!!
