One day i was looking as some reviews on the 2002 Nissan Sentra SE-R Spec V and i saw a picture of a yellow Spec V with matching yellow on the seats where the red would be on the standard Spec V. I really like the yellow one and i was wondering if anyone out there knows anything about the yellow one. Also, does anyone know if they really sell the Spec Vs in yellow and if so where can i find them. Thanks

the yellow spec was only a prototype car, there's a rumor goin around that the yellow spec will be commin out for the 2003 model with the matching interior

yup, thats a prototype. if you notice the rims, side skirts, lip on the rear bumper, and gauges are also different. but i also have heard that the yellow one will come out next year. that would be sweet.

any1 know the Spec's on the car?? HP? 6 spd? looks hot though...

when they came out with the prototype they claimed it'll be 180 hp 180 tq, but then when they were about to put it out forr production it went down to 175 hp 180 tq...and it's a 6 sp

Must be a really light car... would like to see it compete with the New Lancer. that would be fun!!

you guys think it would be a good idea to get one like that or does the yellow look wrong for the car

I'm not a big fan of yellow cars, but it looks good on the Spec V, but then again I haven't seen a bad looking Spec V :)

I like the black/red interior... I think black/yellow interior would look tacky... *shrugs*

I really really like the yellow.
When I went to pick the color for the car it was hands down blue, it was definitly my favorite. But after seeing the yellow I actually might like the yellow better than my blue. And I even like the yellow interior. If that was out now I really don't no which I would pick.

stageone, u mean the 2002 lancer?!? the new lancer is only 120hp 135tq, i think the yellow looks good, but i'd stick with black (being biast), or the red....although yellow will turn a lot of heads, it's a big attractor

Supposedly the Yellow is gonna be a new color added to the 2003 line-up of Sentra's and Supposedly the interiors will be color matched as well....And they will have better trannies also,trannies that are actually produced in Japan.;) that will allow you to hit 60+ mph in second gear which is good for you Auto-Xers.....

By any chance do you know what the price value would be on one of those?

i have no idea i was just going on different sites and that picture came up....hopefully it will be the same as the 2002 model.

wow, guys, it's relatively old news that yellow WILL be a colour for 2003 (exclusive to specs). Interior for specs will be black/silver and stay the same for the se-r.

how about buy a yellow se-r spec-v and then
get the seats recovered in blk and yellow trim. y not just redo the rest of the interior of the car to match! costs maybe a grand tops.

on a serious note, do the above if you want that sceme. we certainly could care less about colors of the inside unless you were building a show car or something. and um, dont bring up old threads dated after maybe a month unless its a problem for you as well. glad you found the af search button.
