357whp/331wtq at 15psinissanfanatic 02-16-2006, 04:47 PM Went out to the dyno today with my MSD 6A installed. No more misfire. YAY! 1.05kg/cm2 http://nissaninfiniticlub.net/photopost/data/500/19378357whp_run.jpg 1.0kg/cm2 http://nissaninfiniticlub.net/photopost/data/500/19378353whp_run.jpg I was so happy to hit 350whp at 14psi. Esp since it was about 80* out. It was in the high 70s last time I dynoed 351whp at 16psi. Info about my setup is here http://www.ka-t.org/cory.htm And this is on a 141k stock block KA24DE and on 93 octane pump gas. The car is DAILY DRIVEN at 14psi. clawhammer 02-16-2006, 05:24 PM What's next? Chiquae07 02-16-2006, 11:20 PM im super scared of you now, im surprised u kept the ka engine...doesn't it suck in high speeds, or has that all changed due to boost? TatII 02-17-2006, 12:32 AM ahah 357whp will accelerate like a 357whp car no matter what engine its got. it will just feel differently based on the powerband. but if you look at his dyno, he makes power straight to redline. which means that car doesn't stop pulling. didn't you see the video where you see him hit 60-120mph in only 5-6 seconds. Chiquae07 02-17-2006, 01:39 AM yea, i forgot all about that after i posted that... u 240 guys scare me. too bad i cant find one that isn't auto or have over 150k miles on it.... rice(er) 02-17-2006, 12:24 PM u 240 guys scare me. too bad i cant find one that isn't auto or have over 150k miles on it.... ^wrd, they scare meh too, i bet you can find one if you have deep enough pockets ;) turtlecrxsi 02-17-2006, 01:21 PM didn't you see the video where you see him hit 60-120mph in only 5-6 seconds. That's what I was thinking too. That video is great. Sweet! Igovert500 02-17-2006, 02:50 PM very nice numbers! nissanfanatic 02-17-2006, 05:26 PM lol Mine will have over 150k here soon. Only 9k away. I say screw the miles if compression is good. xXxRocker5150 02-17-2006, 07:08 PM nice numbers man, that's really awesome Chiquae07 02-18-2006, 01:50 AM thats ok for you in the climate you live in. here, we have salt that goes onto the road which causes underbody rust...so if its a wi car, its a salt bucket waiting to start rusting, if it isnt 4 yrs or older. speakin of rust, my car has started to, and its a 2001, so i got that project on my hands in the spring 2000LS1Z28 02-18-2006, 02:14 AM Wow, nice numbers. For comparisons sake, i've attached my dyno graph. I think a little tuning might get me more horsepower, especially if I run in less then 100 degree weather: http://memimage.cardomain.net/member_images/8/web/2120000-2120999/2120966_4_full.jpg clawhammer 02-18-2006, 09:47 PM lol Mine will have over 150k here soon. Only 9k away. I say screw the miles if compression is good. I would like to say a word of caution about compression. Especially on a high mileage engine, you'll have a carbon buildup inside the cylinders, which increases compression. The engine could be burning oil like a mother, but still have good compression numbers. Make sure that the number on all cylinders are close together, and also do a leakdown test as well. nissanfanatic 02-19-2006, 08:02 AM ^I know. I compression test it monthly... vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
