Anybody rember my T-bird days?

I was searching the internet for car comparisons and came across old postings on AF. I read a bunch of them for about 2 months and then decided I wanted to be able to make some comments, and here I am.

i had my mustang for about 3 months... and my brother was in a couple car forums for his car. he told me that the best thing i could possibly do to learn more about my car/cars in general was to find a forum for my car... so in december of 04 i was searchin around for mustang forums and came across this one, liked it and joined. i really never strayed from the mustang forum for the first couple months i was a member on here, except one time when i think i got in a argument about the new GTO's with formulaLT1... which if i remember correctly i was just a retarded newb.

i was here since 2001. i was searching up skylines since i was fresh out of highschool and didn't know much about cars. then i got into the car comparison forums then i got into the streetracing. i still browse around the 240sx forums but i'm mostly here.

i remember when tv and redneck and dmc12 were noobs. hahah redneck had his truck, and TV had his T-bird and raced fatninja's 5.0 and dmc12 has his dmc12.

I joined in 02, because i was oddly enough looking for someone to talk about cars with, then found a forum with 40,000+ people and thought it seemed like a decent gig.

join in 04.. i just felt that i needed somewhere to ask car questions in general and i noticed that the forums isnt dominated by one kind of car so im here

I was looking for car videos to watch during homeroom to piss off my teacher...but instead I found AF.

I was never really into cars, some of my friends would talk about it (street racing scenes), they'd have like the Street Tuner magazines and all that, they would bring it to class in high school and stuff and I would just kinda ignore it, i didn't really care because I was an "education-first" type of person and I was on my high school football and wrestling team so i didn't really have time for anything else, i'm also a hard-core gamer, played some MMORPG and was kinda addicted.

I didn't come into the car scene untill graduation when I started to look for a good reliable car for college, i grew around the japanese imports, Toyota stood out the most and thus a Toyota owner i am. It just grew on me, modding cars and street racing, I was in.

I've always been into forums, I've been apart of some really good and fun forums and also some not so good, most of them were gaming forums when i was younger, now its mostly cars. I knew i had to get into a street racing forum to learn more about it, nothing else didn't really matter. So i came across this street racing forum and knew i had to join, its a mix of cars and seems to be pretty busy with knowledgeable people, i dont really go anywhere else besides the street racing, non specific and toyota sections.

im still kinda new, but i still see myself in here 3 years from now

and i can't believe its been almost a year since i've joined!! omg! i feels like its been only 3 or 4 months or something...

I dont really remeber why I joined way back when I did, I remeber looking for street racing vids and what not. I wound up here, and decided that I should join to make a few comments...and from then on, it just spiraled outa control.

since 04'... I stumbled accross these here forums in a search for a new car, and somehow drifted away from the classifieds section.

Since 03, I needed help changing a light bulb on my 3K.

I've been here about 1/2 a year now, thanks to my cousin (92pontiacbonny). I deffended one of his postes (good times), and i was totaly hooked after i saw all the info on here. just in my half a year here, i saw much improvement, and i just love this site.

Joined in 2002. I always liked cars but didn’t get hooked till I saw F&F... as dumb as that sounds. But I knew a thing or two about cars and knew not to believe everything I saw in the movie. So after I wanted to know more about modding and racing and lucky enough I ended up here. Imagine if I found a Honda forum instead? Id probably be dead:rofl: …. Seriously :uhoh:

Been here since 03 I think. Googled something or other about mustangs parts for one of my friends one night and stumbled across a Honda post citing a race against a mustang.:screwy: Registered thinking I could trash talk on how much I hated all the rice mobile hondas. :nono: Oddly enough I own one now.:banghead:

J/K :disappoin . I remember that and don't worry about it. I have had worse cases of people arguing with me when I 300% sure they are wrong and have argued facts when I had incorrect info. Just goes to show you can't believe everything you read/hear. Nothing like hands on knowledge. :wink:

Oh and as to why I joined and stayed. I joined cause I wanted to learn more about cars and share what knowledge I had and I stayed cause of the cool members such as Andy.
