electric seat beltRidleyj329 02-14-2006, 04:27 PM i have a 94 SL1 and the auto seat belt doesnt work on the driver side. i dont mind manualy latching the seat belt off and on. the latch is stuck in the down position. my question is how manualy force the latch into the up position? saturnspeed_12 02-14-2006, 04:48 PM most of the time you wont be able to force it back. the motor might be dead or the track is jammed. when those things get stuck, they are pretty much stuck. do you happen to hear a clicking noise of anything when the door is open? Ridleyj329 02-14-2006, 05:06 PM yes i can hear the motor turning. but the latch does not move at all. is it possible that its just off the loop? saturnspeed_12 02-14-2006, 05:08 PM yeah the thing probably feel off track in some way. Ridleyj329 02-14-2006, 05:09 PM so that could be a simple fix rather than spending a lot to replace parts? saturnspeed_12 02-14-2006, 05:11 PM yeah thats just my guess, might as well try and see if its come loose somewhere. no reason for buying anything just yet. Ridleyj329 02-14-2006, 05:12 PM well i called a shop and they said theyll check it for me free of charge so im hoping thats it vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
