E-150 Van 1990 Overheated - Now Leaking Water

My trusty tank of a van is leaking water. Wondering what the problem could be, and if it might be a simple fix. I haven't been driving it much, the weather's been hopping from hot to cold in extremeties - and all of a sudden - I add extra antifreeze one night when it was freezing - only to find the car overheating the next day when it was 70 degrees during a traffic jam on the freeway. ALL of the water and antifreeze had leaked out of the van - I filled it up with water, let the car cool down - and drove home. At the end of the 30 minute drive, most of the water had leaked out again.

Does anyone know if this sounds like something simple like a hose? Or a problem with the actual radiator? I've had the car for awhile and this is the first problem.

Thanks for sharing, if someone knows anything!

You'll have to invest some time to look under the hood to locate the problem. Raise the front of the van if you can. Fill your radiator with water, start the van and look for the leak. If it's a hose, remove the old one and take it to the auto parts store to replace it. That way you know it will bbe long enough. If it's the engine block, you may be able to seal it with J-B weld. Drain the water out completely and dry off the outside of the crack. then let it cure (dry) for the specified time before yu fill the engin again. But first you have to find out where it's leaking!
