ChuckH 08-09-2001, 02:44 PM Now I know how you felt when we all left for Moab without you! :( wqbang 08-09-2001, 02:59 PM Originally posted by Synchro unless someone needs a microbrew from out here Ummm... Dominion Barleywine.... Good.... But alas, I will not be at GOX. Philosopher 08-09-2001, 04:01 PM I can't go this year - buying a house @ the end of August and planning a wedding has taken all my time and money. I'm sure Mr. Firth is relieved to know I'm not coming but I hope that some of you guys will miss me ... just a little bit? No? M'kay. I'll go sit in the corner ... :) I will be hitting Moab sometime next year for sure. Chris_McCracken 08-09-2001, 04:22 PM <me too> It looks like I'm stuck driving alone from St Louis. I'm not sure yet if I'll camp or split a hotel room with someone, but I know I'll be out there. I'm hoping to get some X armor before going out to the mountains. Rock is far less forgiving than mod/brush/etc... </me too> Philosopher 08-09-2001, 05:34 PM Originally posted by Chris_McCracken <me too> It looks like I'm stuck driving alone from St Louis. It's Moab that you have to worry about. :) VaderX 08-09-2001, 08:13 PM Well this newbie is also going to GOX although I will be sporting some new hardware namely an arb and sliders. I hope I don't give anyone the impression that I know what I am doing I am a straight amateur who wanted armor to avoid damage. rrdstarr 08-09-2001, 08:31 PM Schlud......as long as you don't make me wear full BDU's boots and my M-60! I damn near drowned in drown-proofing class! :D Schludwiller 08-09-2001, 09:20 PM Originally posted by VaderX Well this newbie is also going to GOX although I will be sporting some new hardware namely an arb and sliders. VaderX 08-09-2001, 09:52 PM I ordered the arb and am ordering sliderz next week havent decided on eoe or calmini just yet. I believe eoe is taking sliders for sale at gox so if I go with them I will probably buy them and install them there. Synchro 08-09-2001, 10:53 PM Originally posted by wqbang Ummm... I hope to get out a bit (away from everyone else), and do some more challenging trails in addition to some of the group trips. GOX2 is just my excuse to head out there. I'm also planning on doing some hiking and rock climbing out there. I have to cram a lot of vacation into a little time. That's pretty much what FSR, Pika, Craisy Daisy and myself did last year. There's plenty to see, that's for sure. Have a blast! If you at some point you could stand someone to go with you on those harder trails, let me know. same goes for hiking. as for rock climbing....you are on your own for that one. Ditto, I would like to take some more challenging trails at least one of the days. And I don't do alot of serious climbing, but do enjoy bouldering. That should be challenging enough for you. VaderX 08-20-2001, 04:38 PM This is for anyone staying at the koa campground.
