Tuning my civic.theTEH 02-08-2006, 10:03 PM I have installed a Edelbrock Performer X turbo kit into my 98 Civic EX http://www.edelbrock.com/automotive/sport_compact/index.html It came with "State-of-the-art electronics to control boosted fuel and timing" and also states that "no additional tuning required when used on otherwise stock engines." With that being said, is anyone sure what it means by "otherwise stock engines?" Other non-stock components I have installed include: 450 CC DSM injectors along with OBD-1 harnesses and resistor box Pulleys Cam Gear Greddy Turbo Timer Greddy Profec B Spec II Electronic boost controller Stage 2 clutch There may be another thing or two I can't think of off the top of my head. My car seems to run fine as far as I can tell. That is, no problems yet. With that being said do you guys still recomend a dyno tune? Do I need it with the rest of the stuff I have installed? I'd really like to have an actual "expert" look at it anyway (This is my first turbocharged car) and maybe get on a dyno just to check HP. Anyone know anywhere in Oregon I can get this done? Or at least how I can find one? I haven't been able to locate any on the net with search engines. How much should I expect to pay and what should be included (I don't want to get ripped off)? If you can only answer one question, any help is appreciated. Thanks. kicker1_solo 02-08-2006, 10:55 PM where in Oregon are you from? theTEH 02-09-2006, 02:23 AM Albany. theTEH 02-09-2006, 02:33 AM Checked out your sight.
