G80 Locking Differential Question 96IsuzuRodeo 02-08-2006, 08:05 PM
I have a 1996 Isuzu Rodeo with a 3.2L and a 5 speed manual transmission. Is the G80 locking differential a true locking differential similar to the Detroit Locker or is it just another limited slip differential with clutch plates? Canucklehead 02-08-2006, 08:46 PM The Isuzu G80 code means Limted Slip Differential. Tom01Rodeo 02-09-2006, 07:33 AM Here is some info on the G80 option for chevy vehicles. http://www.automotive.eaton.com/product/traction_stability/lockingdiff.html Not sure if its the same but it wouldn't surprise me. 96IsuzuRodeo 02-12-2006, 03:54 PM Thank you for the replies. The link to Eaton had some great information. Related Links Enter the largest automotive community on the planet! |
