Which manual is better?nuwt 02-06-2006, 08:19 PM Which manual is better? Chilton or Haynes? I Know the Saturn manual would be best, but I want to go the cheap way! Cat Fuzz 02-06-2006, 08:28 PM I've had people tell me to buy both. Chilton and Haynes are under the same company and one will leave out information while the other will have it and vice versa. A Chilton and a Haynes together are still cheaper than a Saturn service manual, I'm sure. I only have a Chilton and I was pleasently surprised at how much troubleshooting information it has for emissions sensors and things. sickcallawayc12 02-07-2006, 02:15 PM I have both myself and am glad that i do but i find that generally the chiltons is better than haynes, slightly more specific. nuwt 02-07-2006, 04:37 PM Thanx!!! I will buy a chilton. Tacuvito 02-12-2006, 11:38 AM The Haynes manual has more pictures which for me are very important. peppermrj 02-12-2006, 02:49 PM I'm real cheap. I use the autozone online repair manual (http://www1.autozone.com/servlet/UiBroker?UseCase=RG001&UserAction=beginRepairGuide). xtreme barton 02-12-2006, 03:27 PM I'm real cheap.
