Have you tried a new/different key or sprayed the cylinder with WD-40? It could also be that the switch itself is bad.

I have seperated the electronic switch from the mechanical so as too start van and drive home.I have tried all 3 keys for the van and all are the same result,no turn.I would like to know if there is an easy way that someone has found to remove a non turning cylinder from the housing.
Thanks for replys.

Problem is solved.I ended up drilling into the safety catch that holds the cylinder in and the tumblers freed up enough to turn and release the cylinder.New one is installed and set to go.
