1985 735i fuel pump/relay problem?Mike Mills 02-02-2006, 11:14 PM I removed my gas tank to replace all the hoses as they were rotten. Found out later I could have replaced them without removing the tank. I turned the tank upside down to drain all the gas before re-installing it. Now the in-tank and outside tank fuel pumps do not function. I think it may be the fuel pump relay, but I can't locate it as I don't know what it looks like (the book says it's on the cowl)? I only measure .5 volts at the connector to the in-tank pump. Same .5 volts at the fuse which is good. HELP would be appreciated very much.
