Would you pay 4500 yen for an F20C?Jay! 08-08-2001, 01:09 AM Wow! I just found it here (http://www.hlj.com/cgi-local/hljpage.cgi?SAK3307). It looks super-detailed. Now, paying 4500 yen (approx. $45) for it may be a bit out of line. Or is it? Would you pay that much? The pieces are made of white metal. Does anyone have experience working with white metal? I don't. :( (Just in case anyone doesn't recognize the engine code, that's the 2 liter Honda S2000 powerplant.) ales 08-08-2001, 03:00 AM Wow. Now that's expensive... As for me, I'd rather buy a couple of 1/43-s from Minichamps :) If you have money, then why not Guiddy 08-08-2001, 01:17 PM $45 is a lot, but then I could easily spend that on photo etched extras for my cars! I am trying to get away from that sort of detail now though as invariably a project takes too long, you get bored, start something else and the old projects never get finished!!! I would just build the S2000 nice and move on! Nice if you want that sort of thing though! Guiddy 08-16-2001, 03:47 AM My suppliers have that in for £33.45!!! I think I'll pass too! Jay! 08-16-2001, 08:22 PM Calculation: £33.45 x 1.44 = $48.16 That's what I'd end up paying after shipping. I just can't justify it. :( Guiddy 09-21-2001, 05:02 PM Ok, here are the instructions! I just noticed I said I would pass on this!!! Never mind!!! Only money!!! Bit dissappointed there seem to be no engine bay ancillaries! Looks like a bit of scratch building needed! I will do a search, see what else I can find!!! If anyone can translate the Japanese, I would be greatful!!!:D Jay! 09-21-2001, 09:41 PM :eek2: OMG!!!!! It comes with decals, too? WOW!!!! Sh!t! I just saw that it includes the gear shift connected to the tranny! Holy crap!!! Their engine bay looks spectacular!!! Any of our Japanese-reading AFers want to give Guiddy a hand? ;) ales 09-22-2001, 01:50 AM :eek2: indeed! holy molly  Thats what I call detail... primera man 09-22-2001, 06:34 AM Originally posted by Guiddy If anyone can translate the Japanese, I would be greatful!!!:D Says....."BEST OF BRITISH LUCK !!"...LOL Have no idea Dan....but it's super detailed.  It's going to take some nice work to look like the pics vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
