Check This Out Before Buying Bigger Rims For Your Riv

Last week i bought some new 18 inch wheels, and low profile tires. The problem is, beacuse of the tires, it rides like a sports car. It is not worth getting much bigger wheels, it doesnt ride nice, you feel everybump. It looks nice but thats about it. You might want to rethink your decission, because i know i am going to take off the wheels soon.

Yup, that is the big trade-off with the low profile tires! The sidewall of that tire is taking up an amazing amount of shock, just like the rest of the suspension system. Also, that system is usually tuned (as well as the technology was in that era) to suit that vehicle for best ride.

Personally, I don't think anything more than 17" look good on a 95-99 Riv, but that is very subjective. Everyones tastes are different.

i agree... my buddy had 18's on his riv for 2 days and took them off.. the car rode like some cheap import you felt every crevis in the road
