2000 Bonneville rear door panel removal

The rear windows on my wifes 2000 Bonneville just fell down while driving.
I guess that the window regulators broke.
How hard is it to replace these and also is there a trick to get the rear door panels off.
I tried to just pull on the edges of them and did not want to pull to hard and mess them up, so if anyone has some trick as to remove the panels to gain access to the window regulator parts I would appreciate there help.
Also about how much do new regulators cost and are they a dealer only part or does some know of a aftermarket source for these parts.
Thank for all the help

The window regulators you can find on ebay for about $120-$180.better than paying $375.00 + from the dealership..It isn't really to hard to replace them I replaced mine in the rear and it took about a 1/2 hour..I saw the first one get changed and learned from that it isn't too bad...To get the door panel off remove the power window switch and disconnect the connectors, using a door panel removal tool or a pry bar..gently go around the sides and bottom of the door to disengage the retaining clips.grasp the door panel and lift up to release the upper edge..after you have removed it you will see the window regulator..I just gave you the basics..If you need more info or have any ?'s I would go to www.bonnevilleclub.com They have all the answers to your questions and problems pertaining to your Bonneville...Good Luck hope this helped you out....

I went on Ebay and all the regulators include the motor- Is the regulator and motor one unit and is that why they are so expensive
