Well, the price of insurance goes down ALOT once you hit 25. Being 18 and owning any car is gonna cost alot on insurance, especially if it is turbocharged. My buddy w/ the FRC vette is paying less for his insurance then I am.

Me 2, although I finally got mine down to $1500 with no infractions and I was pretty damn happy. Recently lowered from $2200. Insurance is :swear: highway robbery.

Mine just went up from 310 a month to 375. That equals to 4500 a year. I am being raped with sandpaper by progressive.

Ouch, they were ass raping me with the Z28 at $1500 every 6 months... or $3000 something a year.

Anywho, when it came to renue I switched it over to Mercury insurance and put it on the same policy as my '71 240z that I was driving around whilst the Z28 was down for rearend repairs.

That alone dropped my insurance down $1000 a year, so $1000 every 6 months and $2000 a year... pretty significant drop. I was pleased.

Maybe look into it?

State Farm is Teh Roxor...was gonna be $800 ever 6 with Geico, 900 with progressive and 700 with allstate....and that is because they all refused to give me grade and extrea aurricular activity discounts. So anyway, go to state farm and cost is slashed in half, i was very happy and i carry all but UM i beleive, with a $500 deductible and i dont have top notch coverage but anyway. I was gonna cover my stereo but that owuld have kicked it $100 a year more and for that ill just take the risk and not flaunt what i have.

i get it for like 400 every 6 months. gotta love my parents mulitple car discount and the grades + activities thing from allstate...its one reason to keep the grades up or it jumps to 1000...also looks good for college i guess...

Go with nvidia mb like a 7500GTX or GT, believe me i work in this field and nvidia is still the best.


Goining to be spending meh tax return on a nice set of 18's and a lil suspension work.

i still have to buy the motherboard and everything else..for now i gotta look for a good cooling case under 100 bucks, since im gettin water cooled cpu, since my current computer is overclocked at 3.0 GHz on a radeon x850 xt pro and 2 GB of ram....the processor is a amd 3200++ 2.2..the only thing i dont know how to overclock is my graphics card....
