Has anyone had the good weather and time to go for a ride lately??

I haven't even had my car until today, so I'm just itching to do something by bike or even my 5spd G20 when I start feeling a bit better...

I have put 3500 miles on sinch March- need to do an oil change soon. :rolleyes: I have a buddy who is now into his 8th week of ownership on his Kaw. He told me Sunday he has put on 4100 miles already. :eek: I need to get out and ride!

Egads! Tomorrow I must ride, for Sunday I.... go back to work from a month off with Mono and strep! :eek:

I am so excited I might spontaneously combust!!! I *think* I'm buying my own bike tomorrow, so I'll be out like ALL DAY LONG until I keel over and have to be carried home. :bloated:

I GOT MY OWN BIKE!!!!!!!!!!!! :D :D :D

I'm just a little, tiny bit excited... :flash: It's a 1991 Suzuki GS500E. Below are some pics.

I have never seen a GS with a full fairing. Very nice.

I always liked the GS500s. I dunno why, but I do.

Thanks! :D I was shocked as heck to see a fairing on it, but it will help me fit in with all the lovely squids better now... :rolleyes:

I think it's kinda cool how similar my friend's VX800 looked in comparison to mine (without the fairing, of course). Now that I've got a new rear tire on, I'm hoping to be a wannabe Iron Butt and ride all day tomorrow. I'm sure that with my jacket on I'll roast, but I'm going to try to discover a bunch of new places. Wish me luck! :D

Hey Tangie, your bike would look even cooler with chrome/polished rims :cool: I can hook you up with instructions if you wanna undertake it your self...

And I only wish I was j/k... Looks like my first day off in a week will be spent washing my bike AND my car... :rolleyes:

ha ha! It's only about 80*F at noon here today! :D So when I'm done washing... it's time for riding. :flash:
