My 90 bonnie SSE will start first thing in the morning. Then after its been driven a while and turned off, when I attempt to start it agian it just churns and churns but never kicks over. Let it sit for several hours, and then try again, it starts right up. I replaced my coil pack, still no change. I checked for spark and I have no spark. I have been told to look into an ignition module, however I wanted to make sure it wasnt just a relay or something else. I found my relays under the passenger dashboard, but none of them are labeled. Anyone have a chart that labels the relays, or has anyone had this exact same problem that might be able to direct me in what to do next.

Thanks

The labels should be on the back of the kick plate that you removed to get to the relays.

check for ignition voltage at the coil in BOTH the "run" and "start" positions

Ok, thanks everyone for the reply's. First, there wasnt a kick plate that I took off to get to the relays. They were behind my glovebox. I just removed the glovebox and there is a panel of relays and a few fuses. The fuses I have a list for in my Pontiac manual. The relays arent labeled anywhere.
Next, I had my ignition module tested at Autozone and it tested good. So thats one less thing. Now I am trying to figure out which of the dozen wires going to the module is the power wire. I will check for power with key in "on" and "start".
Small setback, my battery went dead so I have to wit till Friday to buy a new one. Sit tight guys, and thanks again for helping me out, I really need to get the Bonnie back on the road!
