Why does my 1996 Riv say unleaded fue only plz read???

Hi I heard people say to me that if I put premiuem fuel in my car it will run better and a little faster.....but im afraid to try it beacuse right but my steering wheel it says unleaded fuel only help!!!

There hasnt been leaded fuel since the 70's, and performance took a nose dive :(
The supercharged Rivs will benefit from premium fuel. Using regular can sometimes cause them to knock, due to a higher compression ratio on the SC 3800 engine. The regular 3800 in my experience also benefits from premium fuel.
It is 1005 safe and recommended to use premium in your riviera.

milage will be better to, if u don't put ur foot into it every chance!

it says in my supercharged 95's owners manual premium fuel is recommended but regular can be used but may cause you to experience lower performance
