I have a '97 JXI with the 2.5L engine (do all JXI's have the 2.5?) and 114000 Miles. I am going to replace my plugs and wires. Do you suggest that while I have the enging torn apart that I go ahead and replace the valve cover gaskets and the spark plug tube seals?? I am getting 2 misfire codes when I run the test with the service enging soon light. Should I also replace the distributor cap and rotor while I am at it?? Let me know what you think. The gaskets are fairly cheep($34) so I am not worried too much about them.

I don't see how you managed to misspell "engine" twice lol "enging"

But i would say hold off on it...see how it goes without, then if it isn't working properly replace the distibutor cap and rotor...no point in replacing them if they are fine for now right?
