Sebring - Power Source/Cigar Lighter quit working

The power source/Cigar Lighter on my 1999 Chrylser Sebring Convertible recently quit working.

I use this to charge my "CELL PHONE" and it is becoming a big DRAG as I can't charge my phone in the car anymore.

I have checked all the fuses under the hood and did not find any burned out fuses ......

Does anyone have any advice for me on this ..... please advice thanks.

I found the solution ... on my way to an appointment this morning .... a 'fellow' drive pulled out in front of my car ... when I went to blow the horn to give them a warning blast ... I realized that my "horn" was also not working ....

The owner's manual for the car shows only one fuse box .. .which they reflect is located under the hood. Upon inspection of all the fuses and the fuse associated with the horn .. I found no blown fuses.

I paid a visit to the parts department hoping they would have a schematic that would help me penpoint the problematic fuse. No such luck .... but the parts rep did suggest that I pull the car into the service bay and ask the Service Writer if there was another interior fuse panel.

Turns out that there is ... not under the dash where you would expect to find it ... it is actually located on the side of the dash (drivers side).

I questioned both the Service Writer and the Parts Manager on why the interior fuse box was not reflected in the owner's manager ... they just smiled and laughed and said that is Chrysler for YA.

Anyway ... success ... once I was in the correct fuse panel ... it was very quick order to find the blown fuse.

I am once again able to charge my mobile phone in the car .. and watch out you reckless drivers out there ..... as a bi-product .. my HORN is once again in working order.

I am making this post ... just in case there are other Sebring owners out there who have encountered a similiar situation.
