92VX intermitent drive problemmn92civicVX 01-16-2006, 12:25 AM 92civicVX stalls/stumbles after it comes up to operating temp. I have good aceleration and idle but when trying to hold a steady speed it stumbles, if I let up on gas it recovers temporaraly then does it again I can give it gas and it bucks then goes dont know how long it been doing this, freind?? just gave me the car. Trying to save some money on the fuel bill during these hard times at $2.25 p/gal. But at this rate going its going to take a long time to start gettin ahead. So far I put it new brake booster then master cylinder then caliper after breaking off bleeder screw. Did all that then found it needed both drive shafts and upper control arm/ ball joint. HELP!!! Thanks, Tracy CivicSpoon 01-16-2006, 12:58 AM Check all the things on this thread: http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=499541 mn92civicVX 01-17-2006, 12:16 AM Thanks for your input and ideas. I had the day of today so I spent some time at a salvage yard that had my throttle position sensor on a vehicle. Bought it and put it on right there and took it for a 2 mile ride and just as it came up to temp, same thing. they were nice enought to go out and pull another and damn if it didn't do it again. Then talked to the owner Jeff Baylow at Baylow's Lester Prairie, MN and he sugested maybe computor and sure enough after giving them back both Thottle body's and throwing in the computor my son and I kept our fingers crossed and it worked plus saved $25 Thottle body was a $100,putor $75. I thanked them and tipped the yard boy a couple bucks and now I can start saving some big $$'s on my fuel bill I've already got 175 miles on a 1/3 of tank of gas going to fill up in the morning to see how well it's working.
