is a magnum r/t a dakota in model year 1998??

It's just an R/T Magnum is the name given to all their truck motors.

The first year of Dakota R/T started in 1998.

Just some info if you didn't know already what the difference is between an R/T and regular Sport Dakota.

-R/T's only came with a 5.9L 360c.i. engine 250hp/345ft.lbs
-only came with an Automatic transmission
-only came with 3.92 gears with 12 bolt rearend
-High flow muffler with 3" catback pipes for a deep sound
-Matching painted front and rear bumpers
-17" rims with wheel fenders
-came with a sport suspension that was 1" lower than a regular Dakota.
