Anyone have a guess on what crank shaft position sensors cost?? And how difficultt they're to install??

The Green Hornet is down!!!!!!!!!! "L"! Kev, I know the first one we'll try is on top of the Crank. We should be able to locate once we see what it looks like. Me thinks we will hit the top first, then drive it to see if the problem is goen. Then worry about the lower one. Your's truley PE2:)

Cost $28 for one at Advance Auto.

TO ALL: WHERE IS CRANKSHAFT SENSOR LOCATED ON VEHICLES-DIAGRAMS, CHART, MANUALS, PICTURES, ETC. WOULD HELP. THANKS.

There are 2 Crankshaft Position Sensors, on the '96 aurora. They are located at the lower center (slightly left) hand FRONT of the engine, as viewed from the drivers seat.
These Sensors are nothing more than a magnetic pick-up coil. therefore not likely to go bad. A failed sensor should should give you a P1375 trouble code.
