Parts sharing - KA24DE & SR20DETFliquer 06-12-2002, 05:48 PM I figure I'll have enough money for a SR20 swap in about 3 years. However, in order for this to be possible, I wont be able to spend money on performance parts for my KA engine. (and I cant wait 3 years to start modifying my engine). Does anyone know if there are any major components of the SR20DET that are interchangeable with the KA24DE? (ie intake, headers, clutch, cams) I figure if I buy parts that fit on both engines, I can beef up my KA and not have to get rid of those expensive performance modifications when I do my SR20 swap. SR20DETpower 06-13-2002, 10:36 AM you could get a cat back exaust and it would be the same for a sr20 engine... or setup your car with some good suspension and leave the engine alone and get in the right class and do some SCCA racing...... 3 yrs to save up for a sr20? what are you saving a penny a day? lol J SPEC SilEighty 06-13-2002, 12:00 PM Originally posted by SR20DETpower what are you saving a penny a day?
