Super Coup problems

Allright the car isnt mine and the details are kinda sketchy but here goes.The car runs fine for a while once it gets warm it shuts down.No stalling or sputtering it just dies like someone turned off the ignition.This isnt an abused car it has low miles and has been pampered.The only thing done to this car is a K&N fipk and some accell wires.Other than that it is bone stock.Anyway after it sets for a while it cools down and starts up and goes on.This leads me to believe that it is something electrical in the ign circut.Has anyone had a problem like this or have any idea what it might be?I would really appreciate the help

Have the coil pack checked out. Sometimes when they get hot they quit.

Sorry....

DIS = Distributorless Ignition System

Sometimes its AKA: Computerized Ignition Controller

It's the small "flat" gray module mounted on top of the AC compressor with the two large bundles of wires connected to it. (94-5's it is mounted on the right fender well).

Do any codes show up? Check the crank position sensor.

the tbird sc is a rare and mysterious breed of bird indeed. they can be tough to diagnose sometimes. i would suggest you post your problem in the forums over at www.sccoa.com. those guys there are true SC experts.
