I'm wanting to sell my project 1983 monte carlo SS because of a couple reasons. I bought it in September to be my driver because of the new engine but to my dismay i've had more trouble with the transmission than i thought.
Pros:
Blue car with 2 white racing stripes *paint is fading*
New rebuilt camaro 350Ci *not even 600 miles on the rebuild*
Blue/Grey cloth interior with white leather accent *SS embroidered to the headrests*
2" cowl induction hood *originally 500$ part*
TRUE dual exaust from the headers back *VERY RARE*
NEW CARB!
NEW HEADERS!

Cons:
Transmission only drives the rear gear, from what i have been told from chevy enthusiasts and a couple mechanics is that the clutch assembly for the 1st drive gear has been shot. the clutch assembly itself can be repaired but i found it even more simple and cost effective to buy a chevy turbo 350 transmission.
The dash is cracked in 2 places because of prolonged exposure to sunlight.
