what diffs?lussenden 01-07-2006, 05:42 PM i have a 1990 jeep cherokee 4x4 and i was wondering what kind of dana differentials it had cause it says dand on it but not specifically if its a 35 40 44 etc.. MagicRat 01-07-2006, 07:34 PM It's a Dana 35. For that year, some came with C-clips to retain the axle shafts ("Dana 35C"), some did not, and used a bearing plate at the ends of the axles instead. The 44's came on '87's, but were occasionally used on some 88's and 89's. Saudade 01-07-2006, 08:31 PM MagicRat, I thought the "C" refered to "custom" not c-clip. http://www.californiajeeper.com/axle.htm lussenden 01-07-2006, 09:21 PM It's a Dana 35. The chart calls out that you have a Dana 35C in the rear and a Dana 30 in front. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
