How much would a KA24DE, and a tranny cost ?? Or better how much would you be willing to pay for them? I am trying to figure out if it is worth spending the money on a car with a good engine and tranny and then selling them to make up the difference (Easier to find one with working engine).

I am not sure of the condition or how many miles are on it(I'm not talking about any one engine and tranny). But rather I am looking for an average price range from good condition to extreamly good condition.

91-98 engines which are the DOHC KA24DE's usually can go from 300-800 bux for motor and tranny.

Just make sure to have it checked out and tested.
