About a year ago I had a tune-up done on my 99 Sebring. shop claims they replced the Dist, Dist. cap, rotor. plugs, wires and intake gasket. Cost me $800 plus bucks. I recently had an issue with the vehicle and found out my plugs and wires were bad. I informed the mechanic (diffrent shop) about the previous work done. He looked at the car and informed that the original wires and most likely original plugs were still on the car. He could not verify if the dist. was also the original one but was sure the wires were. I followed this up with a local dealer and he agreed. The wires were original. Always make sure you get your old parts back after repairs. If possible, mark them before the shop pulls them to make sure they were actually replaced. I am intrested to see what the shop owner says when I confront him with this information. I'll follow up this post to let everyone know. :nono:

Yeah, it's hard to trust anyone with your car. Even the mechanics nowadays aren't trustworthy!

Get back to us w/the aftermath of your confrontation. Inquiring minds want to know. LOL!
