A/C Compressor Bearings

The A/C compressor on my 87 SS sounds like the bearings are failing (it makes alot of noise). I think it is just the pulley, lubricating it with grease elliminates the noise for a day or two. Can the bearings be replaced or do I need to buy the whole thing? Thanks

The bearing/pulley assy is seperate.
