ive got an 87 jeep cherokee laredo that i need to change the starter seolonoid out on, but i dont know where it is or what it looks like, help!

It's either mounted on the starter (large round cylinder on top of the starter) or it's a Ford style (rectangular with several wires) which is mounted on the side of the engine compartment near the battery. Follow the positive wire from the battery. My 95 is on the starter.

It should be a silver/gold metal relay next to the Bosch relays.
