I have a 1983 ford bronco and i went to go work on it the other day, and the key wouldnty turn when i put it in. I assumed it was the igniton and started to take the steering wheel off, just wondering how to replace the igniton or should i replace steering coulumb?

With a tilt column, remove the steering wheel and pad, if tis auto, put it in park. You're going to need to get it to turn to ON to get it out. Push an eighth inch pin into the hole near the base of the lock cylinder and pull the cylinder out. If you have a tilt column, the hole is on the outside of the column near the hazard switch.

Did you try another key? The one you are using may be getting worn down. Try giggling the key while trying to turn it. A little graphite might help.
