My 1993 Bonneville will lose power and die when driving it or will not start when you want to drive it. It will turn over but does not fire. Then it will just start. It can be anywhere from 1 minute to over an hour before it will finally fire after it loses power. Somedays - it never does this and others - it might do it several times in a short distance. The car runs fine other than this bizaar problem. It has no distibutor and the coil packs have been replaced along with various other parts trying to figure out the problem. Please help!!

What " various "other parts, do you have spark and or injector pulse when this happens.

There is no spark but there is injector pulse. It has a new tune-up and those parts were replaced.

I had a similar problem with the engine frequently dying on my 94. I finally traced it to a contact problem on the connector to the ignition module. The connector is over $100 and after replacing it using soldered connections, my problem of the engine dying quit. Good luck.

The crank position sensor is a common problem on these engines, and will cause the symptoms you describe.
