I have a 01 Sebring lxi, and i have 1 problem. when i connect the amp for the interior speakers i got no sound from them. i have the amp running off a pioneer head unit. The sub amp works fine, but just not the high's. any idea what could be wrong.

I have a 98 and when I installed my amp, I had the same issue. I had to make a few changes to the Pioneer head unit so the sound would come on. I had a heck of a time figuring out what exactly I had to do but when I made the changes, everything worked out fine. I'm not sure what Pioneer unit you have but I have the one that fits into the larger opening found in most Chrysler vehicles. Check your Pioneer manual to see if you have to do the same.

I just installed the 6600 in my wife's car and it sounds awesome. I'll bet you have to go into the head unit and fiddle with the settings. If I remember correctly, it might have to do with the non fading output. Read the owner's manual and look for information dealing with adding an external amp. I know there's something you have to do when adding additional amps!

Ya man, its all about the settings in the head unit. Once you put the extra power source in, its almost as if the head unit resets, and you have to go through the extra menus and set everything the way you want, like a seperate equalizer.

not sure if this is the answer to your problem or not. I have a 97 jxi and I had a problem with my factory amp not coming on when I replaced my head unit with a apline reciever. I found out that in order for the amp to work I had to hook up the cars power antenna wire to the remote turn on wire. It seem that the antenna wire is what turns on the factory amp. I could listen to the radio but not cd's. At first I thought it was the open box cd player that I saved $100 on, and than returned it for a new one (no aditional charge) and hooked it up in the parking lot, but same problem. I than called and talked to someone it the install department and they told me to do what I did. If all else fails call an istall department at a local automotive electronics store.
