Hey guys took mine out the other day, its a 1993 3.1, auto, and when coming to a stop at 80kms, it would vibrate like crazy below 40kms, then when came to a stop it would stall, since i figured that out the first time i start to downshift myself, but what causes this and how do i fix it?

check the throttle pressure cable, im not saying thats definetely your problem, but its certainly worth checking, also, you dont have a 5th gear

no, on your car i dont know exactly where its located, however on your car theres a cable that goes from your gas pedal to your engine, theres also a cable that goes from your gas pedal to your transmission, thats the cable your looking for, however, this cable might not go straight from your gas pedal to your transmission, it might go from the top of your engine down to your transmission

Well i havent checked it yet but seems ok today, i took it out for a 15 minute ride and seemed fine so i will check it if it ever does it again thanks man!

Just check to see if its loose?

Um...this is the TCC Solenoid problem that always happens on the 3.1 tranny's. Do a search, you can find plenty of threads on it and links to instructions on how to fix it. Also, you don't have a "5th" gear, you have 3 gears and then your torque converter locks up after that.
