anybody race a new SI?!?SER Speedalot 06-09-2002, 04:55 PM my friend just got his a few weeks ago. we finally got a chance to race off the line. he can keep up in first gear. but then once i hit second and third, i start pulling ahead. with 50 more touque, spec v's just kill. babyskyline 06-09-2002, 05:44 PM I was about to say the same thing about the new SI's. I ran like three of them in the last two weeks. For some reason they have it out for the SpecV's. Anyway, I killed them from start to finish. That 15.4, did you run that at the track. Trust me you can get lower than that. Yo, you guys are gonna probably laugh at this one. But on the way home last night from the club this yellow S2000 was behind me. We both caught the light. So I decided to run him and just see how bad I was gonna get my ass spanked. To tell you the truth until about third gear is when he started to pull on me, before he got off onto the highway, he asked me "what kind of car is that and what the hell you got in there?'' I said it's the new Sentra SER SpecV's and all I have is an AEM intake? He was like OHHH those are the new ones huh, he said nice car and then took off. Just felt like sharing that with everyone, sorry for babling on, hey it's sunday and I'm bored as hell. PEACE:alien: SER Speedalot 06-09-2002, 11:10 PM thats pretty sweet about that s2000. about the 15.4, i've never ran my car. thats just what its supposed to run stock. what's the lowest you've ran? honda troll 06-09-2002, 11:23 PM The S2000 owner needs to be less concerned with what's under your hood, and more concerned with going to driving school. By 1st gear 9000rpm redline, he'd be 2 car lengths ahead of you, even if he didn't do a drop start. Or your story is BS and you are smokin somethin. :bonghitte babyskyline 06-10-2002, 12:02 AM First off man, I have nothing to Bull@@@@ about, so there's no need for you to be all technical about your #$%#.All I'm saying is what happened last night. If he doesn't know how to drive his car then that's on him. But anyway, SER speedalot I have heard on this and B15sentra.net that people have gotten there's down to 15.2. Now I don't know if that's accurate but that's just what I have heard. I have been using the G-Tech here and there and I got mine down to 15.1 all the time. I don't really trust that device, BUT... my car can hang with my friends slightly modified TypeR who beats me by a half a car length and sometimes and sometimes a car length and he is running 14.7's consecutively and my friends SI who ran 15.0's all the time. You do the math. Like you said before some cars are different from the factory.Peace out:alien: SER Speedalot 06-10-2002, 06:40 AM thats pretty sweet about you g-tech'n at 15.1. i totally trust that device. the only thing that you have to be sure of is the wieght of the car. if that isn't exactly right then you won't get an acurate reading. my friend has one. i've found it to be really acurate. i think i'll run my car once i do a few mods. maybe just intake. but definitely when i get exhaust. i'll take that beast down to the track. babyskyline 06-10-2002, 11:31 AM Do that, try it out and see what you get. Like I said I don't really trust that device, because one time I got it down to 15.02. But most of the time it was always 15.1 something, it's been awhile so I really don't remember. Matter of fact I am gonna probably try it out tonight and see what I get. You should do the G-tech thing first before you get any mods and before you go the track, then run it at the track and see how off the G-tech thing is. Good luck to ya. muphasta 06-10-2002, 05:12 PM I have had a lot of integra's try to run me. I am to old to really race these guys, and usually running into them 2 blocks from where I live. I know 2 of them have been mod'd w/at least the exhaust. Anyway, I have had no problem staying in front of them. I even let them get thier noses out in front of me, then pull up next to them, always inching up on them. It is a 45 mph street, and I back off at about 50-55, but by then, we are at my driveway. SER Speedalot 06-10-2002, 05:23 PM i'm always getting raced too. eclipses, accords, civics, integras. everything. one of my best races was against a turbo civic. he was in front of me and i heard him take off. that turbo was loud as hell. so i gunned it too. we were dead even. haha. i'm stock and he's modded that car as much as it will do. pretty sad. i also gave an eclipse gs a car and a half length head start and then just killed him. and i had 2 people in the car. thats where the 180 lb/ft of tourque comes in handy. babyskyline 06-11-2002, 12:13 AM That torque is deffinately a blessing. I'm telling you, all the other cars out there have it out for us, especially when our cars start to get really popular. That's all right though because our cars are pretty much hanging with alot of the competition now, this is what I say to all of them once alot of mods are made for the SpecV's:finger: Peace out and keep racing.Oh yeah, SER speedalot did you use your G-tech yet???? 1320B4U 06-11-2002, 12:46 AM You should race a real Eclipse. Is it true there like a little V8, gobs of torque low and RL at 6200rpm? SER Speedalot 06-11-2002, 06:12 AM nah babyskyline i haven't gtech'd yet. i'm so tired after work, i just forget. hehe. i will soon though. what i think is funny is the people that don't know anything about our cars. they just think its a little sports package with rims and a different front bumper. they have no idea whats under the hood. :D my friend had this lancer talking crap about his spec v. so they raced and of course the spec raped the lancer. some people just don't know. Sanchi 06-11-2002, 07:11 PM lancers arnt race car's wernt even made with the though of compitition in mind. The Lancers are super eco car's like a geo metro (not realy but u get the picture) alot of ppl think their lancer's are the Evo's and their just ignorant. The regular Sentra SE can spank the lancer. !!! :D :D :sun: :flash: SER Speedalot 06-11-2002, 09:12 PM you got that right man. however when the evo comes out, its gonna own. 276 horse.....and it looks bad ass......hell yea.:ylsuper babyskyline 06-12-2002, 01:11 AM Well hopefully you will have a chance this weekend. Hey I emailed GREEDY two days ago and they emailed me back saying that they are planning to make stuff for the new Sentras and Altimas. So hopefully some good news at the end of the year. The only part that sucks is all this waiting. I would like to get some stuff on the car soon because Hot Import Nights is coming to Dallas Aug. 3 and I would like to show it off, but hell not now. The only thing that I will get done is, I'm getting my stock rims powder coated a nice glossy black w/ a hint of gray and lowering it and getting the carbon fiber hood. Like I said I'm not showing it, but after the show when all the street racing goes on I will have a lil something something to show. Peace out and keep racing:alien: honda troll 06-12-2002, 02:19 AM Originally posted by babyskyline First off man, I have nothing to Bull@@@@ about, so there's no need for you to be all technical about your #$%#.All I'm saying is what happened last night. Like you said before some cars are different from the factory.Peace out:alien: Well then it's possible he either WASNT racing you, or he had to shift at 5000rpm because his car wasn't broken in yet. Ever think of that?? You are talking about low-mid 15 second 1/4 miles on your car... do you realize S2000 can do 13.6 stock with the best drivers? 14.1 for the average?? 0-60 of 5.2-5.5?? There... I did the math... now you try. SER Speedalot 06-12-2002, 06:15 AM FIGHTING ON THE INTERNET IS LIKE RUNNING A RACE IN THE SPECIAL OLYMPICS........EVEN IF YOU WIN, YOU'RE STILL RETARDED. just drop it. Sanchi 06-12-2002, 06:53 PM Originally posted by SER Speedalot FIGHTING ON THE INTERNET IS LIKE RUNNING A RACE IN THE SPECIAL OLYMPICS........EVEN IF YOU WIN, YOU'RE STILL RETARDED. just drop it.  WOW that sux yet true... man thats real sad... but i gota remember this one !!!!! hehehe :D :D :sun: :flash: babyskyline 06-13-2002, 12:20 AM I'm not even worried about it, because if the TROLL would have read my email close enough he would have seen that I said "YOU GUYS ARE GONNA LAUGH AT THIS ONE" cause I knew that I was gonna get my ass spanked, but I guess you need a PHD to figure that one out. So all of the 13.6/ 14.1, pretty much you trying to make someone feel like a ----ing retard means nothing to me, I'm already aware of what the car can do. But hey thanks for reminding me. Like you said, this subject is dropped as far as I'm concerned. Oh by the way Speedalot, I liked the analogy, pretty deep. Peace.:alien: honda troll 06-13-2002, 12:53 AM Right, you said you KNEW you were going to get your ass handed to you. But then CLAIM you didn't. You CLAIM he didn't pull on you til 3rd gear. Like I said. BS. As for the arguing on the internet comment... that is so old... http://www.lamer.net/timeline.jpg Honda Beastus 06-13-2002, 02:39 AM hehe, sometimes you *THINK* you're racing an S.. unfortunately, in most cases the S was just driving normally. like Troll said... S - 14.1 .. even if you aren't even that good at driving.. 14.5 MAX SE-R Spec-V - 15.1 on a G-tech.. 15.1-15.4 realistically at the track come on guys.. who are you fooling but yourselves ;) SER Speedalot 06-13-2002, 06:01 PM we all know that an s2k would woop on a spec v. all babyskyline was talking about is what happened to him. he has no doubt that if the s2k guy really gunned it that he would have taken the hell off. so just leave it alone. Sanchi 06-13-2002, 06:54 PM   wow all this anger over a 30k+ car that's 1 second faster then a 20k car boo on anyone whos takeing this seriously:bloated: :bloated: :bloated: babyskyline 06-14-2002, 11:06 AM Man first okay, what the hell is with the chart. That has got to be the most childish thing I've seen. You still don't get it do you, THE S2000 BEAT ME , ALL RIGHT HE.............BEAT...............ME!!!!! Why you being such a dick?? I'm not the one who's angry about anything, but this is really starting to get old. You must have alot of time on your hands to draw up and do all that BS with that wack ass chart of yours. As far as the comment that SER Speealot made about the arguing thing, he's abosutley right, what's old about it? I totatlly agree with you SE-R Wolfpac but I guess some people just don't get it. Troll man, or Honda Troll or whatever the hell your name is, man just drop it aight? vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
